On behalf of The CHS Group, Cambridge and County Developments have developed affordable housing within a new site on Ermine Street, Caxton. These properties completed in February 2017 and the development comprises of 10 properties in total; 2 x open market houses on behalf of SMDL, 6 x affordable rent properties and 2 x shared ownership houses.

We are pleased to announce that both Shared Ownership properties were reserved and completed shortly after advertising and the new owners are settling in very well.

Location

Caxton is situated approximately 9 miles west of Cambridge and is perfect for families commuting to the city on a daily basis. The village hosts some amenities, but more can be found a mile away in Cambourne along a footpath and within other nearby villages. The iconic Gibbet, is the 1900s replica of the one that stood there before it. Records of the original one being used date back to the 1600s and this structure now acts as a landmark for the village.

Surrounding villages also offer schools rated at ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and local hospitals include Hinchinbrooke in Huntingdon and Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge.
